3 Zoya Polishes for $10 Shipped: My Pick

I have to admit, choosing the 3 Zoya polishes for $10 was NOT easy! I pretty much had to keep telling myself to step away from the mauves – and in the end I was able to limit it to only one: the beautiful Zoya Kate. By the way, one word of advice: do not trust the colors on the Zoya website! They are seriously, seriously off. Take some time to google the name of the polish and look at swatches – I almost bought a “coral” polish that turned out to be bright, almost neon orange when swatched.

My second choice was a jelly polish – I’ve read so much about them (especially about “jelly sandwiches”) and have been wanting one for a while. I was torn between Paloma and Katherine, but finally decided to go with the lighter Paloma. We do have the whole spring/summer season ahead, and brighter colors seem like such a welcome change from the darks of fall and winter.

The last one was such a struggle! On the one hand I wanted something out of my comfort zone, but on the other I didn’t want to get something I might end up not wearing at all… So the boring side of me won over and I got the nude-ish but lovely Pandora. I felt that it would be appropriate both for the office and for the upcoming warm weather, and I sure hope I didn’t make a mistake!

I think the one that puts me the most out of my comfort zone is Paloma – I certainly would’ve been more comfortable with the darker eggplant-ish Katherine, and I’m not even sure I’ll be able to get the hang of working with jellies! So I did get at least a little bit adventurous. Baby steps, right?

If you still haven’t taken advantage of this amazing offer, you still have till January 13! And let me know which ones you choose – did you get adventurous? Did you stick to neutrals? A little bit of both?

Oh, a jelly polish! I really like how jelly manicures look, but I’ve yet to do one myself (mainly because I don’t own a jelly poilsh!) The colors you chose from the Zoya sale are so pretty!

I know! I only learned about them a month or so ago, and I’m really excited to see what they’re like. I’ve read that the application can be a little tricky, so my first attempt might not be a bit of a disaster.
Did you end up getting anything?

Personally, I like jelly polishes best for layering with other polishes, especially glitters. I hope that you like Pandora. I wasn’t expecting much, but I ended up really enjoying it. For me, it was like a nude with with a tiny twist.

I’ve already received the polishes and have tried swatching them. LOVED the jelly, although it’s definitely going to take some getting used to!
I have to admit that at first I was the least excited about Pandora (seemed a little “plain”), but I’ve actually since decided that it’s great to have one of those “nudes with a twist” on hand for those days you don’t want to think about polish. 🙂 All in all, I love all of them!
